Ready for Bikini avatar?

Skin show has taken a different route. Actresses like Kareena, Priyanka, Minissha Lamba and Amisha Patel getting into the swim wear for their roles. And now the latest to join this bandwagon is Anjana Sukhani.

Having already don glamorous roles in Golmaal Returns and Salaam-E-Ishq, the actress said that she is ready fro Bikini show if the character demands.

Said Anjana, “It’s not in my wish list either. However, there comes a point in your career where you get a film that requires you to shed your inhibitions. Of course, the role that I play has to be of utmost importance - if it is justified for the character to wear a bikini, then I won’t fret about it.”

The actress who was seen in the Cadbury ad with superstar Amitabh Bachchan said, “I’m very sure about the fact that posing seductively for the camera doesn’t really pay. It can’t help you grab work. What eventually matters is how talented you are and whether you can deliver goods on the screen.”

Now then, isn’t that a dicey statement to make?

Why Is Anjana upset?

So, when she came to the Pink City as part of a corporate event recently, it was a real homecoming for her. “My entire paternal family is here and as my mother keeps travelling with me, my father lives here. So every trip to Jaipur is all about coming home,” explains Anjana. But if talking about Rajasthan can get her excited, so can talking about her soon to be released film, Jashn. “It’s quite funny.

On the one hand I am pretty excited about my film that’ll see me as the female lead for the first time in my career, but I am mighty upset because the release has been delayed owing to the disagreement between producers and multiplexes.”

The upcoming actor also admits, “At least now I will have an answer to people’s unending questions about why I have still not done a film as the lead.” And what about the rumours of her linkup with Jashn co-star Adhyayan Suman? (Laughs) “It’s all rubbish! We are good friends and share great comfort levels – whenever we read something like this we would call each other and laugh over it! Kangna is a very sweet person, she would often come on the sets and all of us would sit, chat and have a great time together. There is no insecurity in their relationship,” she clarifies. So, this dame at least isn’t using her alleged link-ups to further her Bollywood career!
