Imran lands 'Bollywood' Role

MOST actors struggle for years before securing a big break, but rookie Imran Aslam isn’t waiting in the wings.
He has scooped a role in a movie — in his first audition.
Imran, 25, of Nottingham Drive, Ashton will play a university student in a new ‘British Bollywood’ romantic comedy called My Big Fat Love Story. It will be directed by Zafar Iqbal and in selected cinemas worldwide by November.
Imran (pictured) said: "I couldn’t believe it when I was offered the part. It still hasn’t sunk in."
The role won’t be too far out of Imran’s comfort zone. He graduated from Salford University last year with a degree in business management.
He added: "I’ve never studied drama, but I’ve been going to acting classes for a couple of months. The premiere will be a red carpet affair at the Odeon in Rochdale so I’m really looking forward to that. Advertisement
