MUCH ADO ABOUT RAWSTOCK
The entire unit of the film Rafoo Chakkar—Fun on the run’ went through a real scare during its song shooting for title track. After the first day’s shoot with actor Aslam Khan and Yudhishtir along with new face Priyanka, the stock was sent to the lab. “But when we reached the sets for the second day’s shoot, nobody knew where all the stock was. When we called up the lab, they had not received it either. There was total panic on the sets. We did not tell Tarun for quite some time. Eventually when he was told , he threw a fit. He just refused to shoot until all the material for the previous day’s shoot was tracked,” says Aslam Khan. Naturally, the shoot was delayed. Worst sufferers were the extras of this dance sequence, who had to wait for the shoot with their bodies painted in different colour to go along the theme of the song. Eventually stock was tracked to the production office. Comments the director BH Tarunkumar, “Some unit hand had just felt lazy. Instead of delivering the stock to the lab in the night itself, he decided to deliver it in the morning. However, he never informed anybody and hence panic was created.
We wasted so much of time waiting for something that was never lost.”
